March Mayhem 8.0 11U Open Tournament

The 11U Crusaders traveled to Easley, South Carolina to compete in the March Mayhem 8.0 11U Open Tournament this past weekend.

 The 11U Crusaders came into Championship Sunday as the number 1 seed after pool play wins on Saturday versus the Triple H Tribe (11-1) and Carolina Halos (16-2). 

 Sunday saw the 11U Crusaders in a semi-finals rematch vs. Triple H Tribe resulting in a victory and trip to the championship game.  The 11U Crusaders faced off against Pro Prodigy for the championship.  A huge first inning proved to be the difference as the 11U Crusaders closed out the championship game 9-2.

 The 11U Crusaders out scored their competition this weekend 47 to 8 with great pitching, defense and plate appearances.

 Congratulations to the 9U, 10U and 12U Crusaders Baseball teams as well for winning their respective divisions in this tournament as well.  What a great way to start the 2017 season by sweeping all four age divisions.

 The 11U Crusaders will be competing in the First Pitch Invitational, March 11^th and 12^th at Winged Deer Park in Johnson City, TN.
