CRUSADERS 11U FINISH RUNNER UP IN PIGEON FORGE MEMORIAL DAY TOURNEY

Crusaders 11U fought their way to the championship game this weekend losing to Patriots Baseball (Chattanooga, TN) 11-8 in the GOLD Championship Bracket. The Crusaders cranked out 49 hits on the weekend and posted a 4-1 record. The team posted pool play victories over the Knoxville Fire (Knoxville, TN) 11-10 in walk-off fashion, and the Central Kentucky Sliders (Danville, KY) 7-5. In quarterfinal play on Sunday, the Crusaders beat Tribe Baseball (Kingsport, TN) 8-6. The semifinal game was a back and forth battle against a hot Bombsquad Baseball (Western North Carolina) team, that went into extra innings, as the Crusaders prevailed 10-9. The 11U Crusaders own a record of 30-wins, and 11-losses on the year, and have two tournaments left this season!
