Baseball with a Bigger Mission
We are operated by a board of directors consisting of community leaders, baseball experts, pastors, and coaches. All board members and coaches are volunteers and, therefore, not compensated for their time and efforts. The organization is completely funded by parents and sponsors.
The Crusaders offer teams at most age levels 8u through 17u and draw players from Virginia and North Carolina in addition to Tennessee. Open try-outs are held in the summer each year. Our high qualified coaching staff includes former collegiate and professional baseball players, as well a major league scout. In addition, many have coaching experience at the high school, college, and pro levels.
Our facilities consist of 2 fields, located behind Avoca Christian Church in Bristol, TN, and a spacious indoor training venue located behind Champion Chevrolet in Johnson City, TN.
It is our goal to cultivate spiritual growth, work ethic, self-discipline, motivation, character, teamwork, and attention to detail in all of our players – tools we believe are essential to finding success on the field and, more importantly, in life.
