11U competes in USSSA Dugout Challenge Open Division

In their fifth tournament of the season the 11U Crusaders competed in the USSSA Dugout Challenge Open Division hosted in the Kingsport and Bristol area. 

The 11U Crusaders continued hitting the baseball well outscoring their opponents 42-14 with wins over the East TN Yankees (11-1) and Volunteer Falcons (8-7) in pool play on Saturday.  The 11U Crusaders defeated Washington County Express (14-4) in the semifinals setting up a rematch against the Volunteer Falcons for the championship.  The 11U Crusaders finished the tournament of with an 9-2 victory in the championship game. 

The weekend totals bring the 11U Crusaders record to 15 and 2.  Out of 5 tournaments played, the 11U Crusaders have won 3 championships while finishing runner up in one.  Congratulations to these young men on a great start to the season.
