10u Crusaders Win South Carolina March Mayhem Championship

March 4-5, 2017

The Crusader organization rolled into Easley, South Carolina this past weekend with 4 teams competing in the age groups of 9U, 10U, 11U & 12U and finished the weekend hoisting four South Carolina March Mayhem Championships with impressive performances across the board.

The 10U (M) Crusaders started the season strong with a dominating performance over the competition in route to the championship.

The 10U Crusaders would win their pool play games on Day 1 with impressive victories ( 23-1 & 16-1) over the Upstate Devildogs (Greeneville,SC) and Triple H Tribe (Lavonia, Ga) in route to the Number 1 seed.

Championship Sunday would lead to matchups against Hit House Dawsey & Bandits 10U (Greeneville,SC). The 10U Crusaders would bring home the victory with final scores of 9-1 & 17-0.

Excellent weekend of baseball young men. The offensive power was on full display with solid defensive play in-synch. The coaches and parents are very proud of you. Great way to open the season!

Stats of the weekend: The 10U Crusaders would out score their competition with a staggering 65 runs verses 3 for the combined teams.

Six hits total for the competition……with a combined No hitter thrown in the Championship game (Anderson F & Gage G)

Only 1 defensive error to report. “Defense Wins Championships”
