10U CRUSADERS WIN 11U OPEN SOUTHEAST GLOBAL TENNESSEE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH EPIC LAST INNING COMEBACK

Domtar Park played host to one of the greatest late game comebacks on Sunday (6/24/17) in the championship game of 11U OPEN play …with the winner becoming the resilient 10U Major Crusaders!

The 10U Major Crusaders would cap their 5th straight USSSA tournament championship and secure the 11U OPEN Division Tennessee Southeast Global Championship with a 5 run comeback capped with a walk off hit by #4 A.F.

The 10u Major Crusaders would face stiff competition all weekend and display unbelievable drive and perseverance in competing against the best 11 year old baseball players in this region. The 10u Crusaders would battle in pool play game and against the Tennessee Flash 11u (Knoxville,TN) in Game 1 of pool play to win with final score of:

The stage was set for an epic comeback in the Championship game. The Crusaders would face a new and improved 11U Diamond Elite (Bristol,TN) squad that showed great power and athleticism. The 10U Crusaders would find theirselves down 4 runs in the last inning and all odds against them.

Perseverance, Discipline, Hard Work, Determination, Team, Energy, and Will would be be on display from these 11 teammates as they were driven to complete the epic comeback in route to a 8-7 walkoff victory. One for the ages and one these young men, family and friends that were in attendace will cherish for a lifetime.
