10U CRUSADERS WIN 10U OPEN KNOXVILLE MOTHERS DAY CLASSIC

The 10U (Major) Crusaders traveled to Knoxville, TN this past weekend to compete in the 1 Day – USSSA 10U Open Division “Mother’s Day Off Classic” being held at Bassett Park in Knoxville,TN.

The 10U Crusaders would make all their MOMMAS proud on Mothers Day eve as they would dominate the competition in impressive fashion in a fun filled day of all day long baseball.

The tournament was structured with 2 Pool Play Games 4 game /total path to the championship.

The 10U (Major) Crusaders would face a challenging matchup with one of Knoxville’s best 10U teams in Game 1 of the day (Knoxville Stars 10U-AAA). The 10u Crusaders would come out on top with final score of:

10U Crusaders – 8
10U Knoxville Stars – 5

Game 2:

10U Crusaders- 10
10U Knoxville Tribe – 1

Game 3:

10U Crusaders- 12
10U Knoxville Chaos- 1

Championship Game:

The 10U Crusaders would once again face the Knoxville Stars in the Championship game played at 9:45 PM. The late night and long day would not phase the 10U Crusaders as they would roll to victory with final score:

10U Crusaders – 9
10U Knoxville Stars – 1

What an awesome day filled with many great individual performances at the plate from all of these young men! 34 total hits in 4 games. Very impressive team batting in route to the title!

Great job boys! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommys. You are the true strength of these boys and it was wonderful seeing them in pink and representing their Moms on the big stage with their Mom’s names on each player jersey. Great day of baseball and memories!

On to next weekend where the 10U Crusaders will be back in action in the 11u Division competing in the Line Drive Invitational at Domtar Park in Kingsport,TN.
